The Wachapreague Town Council voted to hire John Maynard, Inc. to perform CCTV camera inspection of identified drainage areas at a price not to exceed $2,000, Councilman Robert Hipple moved; Councilman Bob Bilicki seconded.
Councilman Hipple said the South Ditch letter to the Army Corps of Engineers has been sent and contractors will be solicited after permitting; he noted several North-end drainage locations need CCTV inspection to identify the cause of recurring problems. Hipple said a nearby culvert at the marina was determined to be VDOT-owned and he will contact the regional VDOT supervisor.
The motion was recorded as carried; the meeting minutes do not provide a roll-call tally by name for the vote.
