Pennington Planning Board reappoints leadership and professionals, adopts 2026 meeting calendar

The Pennington Borough Planning Board completed its annual reorganization at its Jan. 14, 2026 meeting, reappointing Jim Reilly as chair and Andrew Jackson as vice-chair and confirming professional staffing for the year.
Mark Blackwell nominated Jim Reilly for chair and Gian Paolo Caminiti seconded the nomination; the board approved Reilly’s appointment unanimously. Caminiti later nominated Andrew Jackson for vice-chair, with Kate O’Neill seconding; Jackson was appointed by unanimous vote.
The board also voted unanimously to appoint Edwin Schmierer of Mason, Griffin & Pierson, P.C. as planning board attorney and Jim Kyle of Kyle McManus Associates as board planner. The board approved Pennoni to serve in an acting engineer capacity for January 2026 while the permanent appointment process continues and appointed Robin Tillou as board secretary for 2026.
In addition, the board adopted its 2026 meeting calendar (Jan. 14; Feb. 11; Mar. 11; Apr. 8; May 13; Jun. 10; Jul. 8; Aug. 12; Sep. 9; Oct. 14; Nov. 12; Dec. 9) and approved the submission windows for applications tied to each meeting date.
The actions were procedural and passed by unanimous roll call; no public comment was received during these agenda items. The board proceeded to business items following the reorganization votes.
