Oldmans Township Committee approves routine resolutions; several contracts and an ordinance introduction recorded

The committee also approved Resolution 2025-32 certifying compliance with U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission guidance on consideration of arrest and conviction records under Title VII (motion Mr. Porch; second Jeff Newman) and Resolution 2025-33 establishing an absence-from-meeting policy for elected and appointed officials (motion Jeff Newman; second Mr. Porch).
On municipal property contracts, the committee approved Resolution 2025-34, awarding a one-year farm contract for Block 9/Lot 5.02 to Dean Sparks; the motion (moved by Jeff Newman, seconded by Mr. Porch) passed with Dean Sparks recorded as abstaining. The body also approved Resolution 2025-35 on disposal of municipal leaves and wood chippings (motion Mr. Porch; second Jeff Newman), with Dean Sparks abstaining, and Resolution 2025-36 awarding a two-year farm contract for Block 29.02/Block 50 to ZRH Farms (motion Mr. Pomponi; second Jeff Newman), which passed unanimously.
The committee adopted Resolution 2025-37 authorizing an executive session for potential litigation and contract negotiations concerning emergency services (motion Dean Sparks; second Jeff Newman).
