At its Feb. 4, 2026 meeting, the Lawnside Borough Council approved a bundle of resolutions, authorized payment of bills and accepted monthly financial reports.
The deputy clerk read eight resolutions for consideration. Among them were: Resolution No. 37‑2026 (release of performance guarantees for site improvements related to Vineland Construction Co., LLC at Lawnside Business Park I), Resolution No. 38‑2026 (release of a public facilities performance guarantee posted by New Jersey American Water Company), Resolution No. 39‑2026 (shared‑services agreements with Camden County for the Project SAVE program), Resolution No. 40‑2026 (acceptance of a Governor's Council on Substance Use Disorder grant), Resolution Nos. 41‑2026 and 42‑2026 (appointments to the planning board and zoning board of adjustment), and Resolution Nos. 43‑2026 and 44‑2026 (NJDOT local aid award extension requests).
Councilman Ronald DeAbreu moved and Councilwoman Dawn Wright‑McLeod seconded a combined motion to adopt the listed resolutions and to approve payment of bills. The roll call was DeAbreu yes; Lee yes; Pollard yes; Wardlow‑Hurley absent; Wilcox yes; Wright‑McLeod yes (5 ayes, 0 nays, 1 absent). The motion carried.
Councilman Robert Lee moved (seconded by DeAbreu) to accept the borough's November and December 2025 monthly financial reports as read into the record; that motion passed by the same roll call tally. Specific dollar totals were read into the minutes for multiple borough accounts.
The meeting continued with council remarks and was adjourned at 7:37 p.m.
