Administrator Brandon Bledsoe told the board the item was omitted from the current agenda because “there is no action that can be taken” while a management contract is in place. He said both the village and the current manager, Kiefer management, have indicated they do not intend to renew the contract when it expires in November 2024. Trustees acknowledged the urgency of the situation and thanked Pixler for raising the concern, but no formal action or directive was taken at the meeting.
The board noted the topic will be appropriate for a future agenda once the contract expires or when staff identify contract‑compliant options. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
