Plumsted board approves special-education contracts, curriculum pilots and tutoring grant

Curriculum and instructional supports approved include Teaching Strategies’ Preschool/Elementary Creative Curriculum Cloud materials, effective Feb. 13, 2025, at $24,840, and acceptance of additional funding under the New Jersey Learning Acceleration Program (High Impact Tutoring) for $14,445 to support tutoring for the 2024–25 school year. The board also approved a TopGolf Events booking for the New Egypt High School Business Academy (March 21, 2025) at a cost of $840, to be paid from the Business Academy fund.
The finance motions were approved on a roll call with six yes votes and one absence (Mrs. Morgan). The minutes identify students only by student number for some tuition contracts; student names are not published in these minutes.
Next steps: the board’s approvals allow district administrators to execute the listed contracts and proceed with curriculum pilots and grant-funded tutoring programs per the vendor agreements and grant terms.
