Board moves forward on Mill Street and Schutzen Street sidewalk projects; easement with Brightspeed advancing

During the Oct. 8 meeting Kurt Daniels of Cochran Engineering updated the Board of Aldermen on Mill Street improvements and Schutzen Street sidewalk replacement.
Daniels reported that Mr. Bystrom has accepted the agreement with the city and that a signed agreement is forthcoming. The minutes state that "Ms. Nelson and Mr. Brakensiek are in discussion with Cochran on the TCE," and that the easement with Brightspeed real estate is moving forward with new contact information; the items are expected to be resolved in a timely manner.
No construction schedule, cost breakdown or formal easement documents were included in the city minutes; the board did not record a formal vote on these items at the meeting.
