The Village of Waldo Board of Trustees approved routine business at its Feb. 2, 2026 meeting, including the Jan. 12, 2026 meeting minutes, the Treasurer's Report and monthly vouchers totaling $80,677.09. Trustee Dennis Reinemann moved to approve the minutes, Trustee Joshua Behr seconded and the motion carried. Trustee Michael Hintz moved to approve the Treasurer's Report, Trustee Jerome Hammarlund seconded and the motion carried. Trustees also approved vouchers #DD1038-DD1040 and 16994-17007 and online payroll liabilities totaling $80,677.09 after a motion by Trustee Dennis Reinemann and a second from Trustee Michael Hintz.
Committee and department reports were brief. Dean Buelke reported the buildings had been checked during very cold weather. DPW Michael Kitzerow said he will haul wood chips to the park. No Roads Committee report was given, and no police report was provided because of the earlier meeting start time. The Fire Department reported six calls, including one alarm in the village, and noted a brat fry at Memorial Hall on March 8. The board placed several items — including the Millpond Spillway, school building and Sheriff's Department — on the next meeting agenda. The meeting adjourned at 7:13 p.m.
