The Village of Waldo Board of Trustees took a series of mostly uncontested votes at its March 9, 2026 meeting. Key actions included:
• Approval to allow pickleball at Memorial Park following a request from Tom Reil of the Waldo Lions (motion by Trustee Dennis Reinemann; second Michael Hintz).
• Waiver of the Memorial Hall rental fee for the Waldo Lions pork chop dinner on April 25, 2026 (motion by Trustee Michael Hintz; second Jerome Hammarlund).
• Approval of a temporary Class B license for the Waldo Lions pork chop dinner at Memorial Hall on April 25, 2026 from 3:00–7:00 p.m. (motion by Trustee Jerome Hammarlund; second Joshua Behr).
• Authorization to have Lentz Used Vehicles appraise and, if legal, sell two surplus DPW trucks at auction (motion by Trustee Michael Hintz; second Joshua Behr). The motion passed 4-1 with Trustee Dennis Reinemann voting nay.
• Approval of routine business including the Treasurer's Report and payment of monthly vouchers #DD1042-DD1049, 17008-17027 and online payroll liabilities totaling $147,936.50 (motion by Trustee Michael Hintz to approve vouchers; second Trustee Joshua Behr).
Other procedural items — minutes approval, reports, and adjournment at 7:21 p.m. — were recorded as carried or completed without recorded opposition.
