The Waldo Water & Sewer Utility Board met Feb. 2, 2026. President Travis Thomas called the meeting to order at 7:19 p.m., and the board adjourned at 7:53 p.m.
Bruce Neerhof, OIC, participating by speaker phone, reported on January operations and lab results. "All effluent parameters met limits at the Wastewater Treatment Plant," Neerhof said, adding the utilities performed well during cold weather and that the lowest water-tower temperature recorded was 44°F. He told the board that an alum/ferric mix dosage trial "appears to be working" to remove phosphorus and that both local restaurants are "using Greasezilla correctly again," which should reduce grease buildup in the lift station. Neerhof also reported the annual septic-tank sludge-hauling report was sent to the DNR.

Trustee Dennis Reinemann moved to approve the board minutes of Jan. 12, 2026; Trustee Joshua Behr seconded and the motion carried. Reinemann again moved to approve the financial report as presented; Behr seconded and the board approved the report.
