Bedard said outbound (uphill) traffic over June 10–16 totaled 18,400 vehicles, with about 13,000 above the 40 mph speed limit and 2,069 that would have resulted in ticketing. He reported inbound (downhill) traffic of 21,000 vehicles with about 15,500 exceeding the limit and 3,602 potential tickets. "Divide the number of people who would have gotten a ticket by the 6-day period, and it averages to approximately 900 tickets a day," Bedard said.
Sitestream described how the data can feed into state DOT processes and discussed practical details such as ticket processing, payments and the town's options. Bedard outlined that implementing cameras typically requires roughly 4–5 months for planning and processing before enforcement would begin and noted the possibility of installing an additional camera at another town location.
Board members asked procedural questions about ticket processing and payments during discussion; no formal vote to pursue cameras was taken July 1.
