Cobb County opens bids for police training facility roof, custodial and supply contracts

Cobb County Procurement Services opened public bids Thursday for four solicitations, with procurement staff reading vendor names and total prices for the county Board of Commissioners’ bid opening. Cameron Evler, senior procurement specialist for Cobb County Procurement Services, conducted the opening and noted that bid bonds were included for all responses.
The largest single-dollar solicitation with explicit totals was 26-6991, an invitation to bid for the Cobb County Police training facility roof replacement. Evler read six total submissions: S Edwards LLC doing business as ARX Commercial submitted the lowest announced total at $1,033,690; CMM Roofing Inc. submitted $1,126,608; Rycars Construction LLC submitted $1,240,000; Escola LLC doing business as TL Gowen submitted $1,371,334; Roof Management Inc. submitted $2,210,450; and Tecta America submitted $2,266,800. Evler prefaced the readings by saying he would read total pricing and that bid bonds were included for these responses.
Evler then opened solicitation 26-6992, an ITB for pest control services for Cobb County government facilities, and named the submitting firms: Bugbusters Inc., Orkin, and Peachtree Pest Control. Because that ITB included multiple pricing components, Evler read vendor names and confirmed bid bonds were included.
Solicitation 26-6993, a request for proposals for custodial services for county facilities, drew a longer list of respondents. Evler read the names of the firms that submitted proposals and noted the RFP will be evaluated using qualitative factors (no prices were read). Respondents listed included 3H and 3H Inc.; American Facility Services Inc.; AT Trash Valet LLC; Building Maintenance Services LLC; Bridal Bliss LLC; CBM Atlanta Inc.; Clean and Protect Global Solutions LLC; CleanSpace LLC; Defender Services; Disinfectant Solutions of Atlanta; Environmental Services Partners; Ford's Vision Solutions; Emighan Facilities Support Services, Inc.; Intercontinental Commercial Services Inc. (ICS Inc.); GJE Group LLC; CleanPro Facility Services LLC; MSL Grace & Company Labor Solutions; Owens, Rens & Lee Company Inc.; The Service Fort LLC; TriBond LLC; and Ubiquiti Resources Group Inc.
The final solicitation opened, 26-6994, an ITB for purchase of printer and toner cartridges for procurement services, likewise featured multiple vendors. Evler read respondents including Anaga Solutions Inc.; BeEFSmart Communications Inc. doing business as Smart Group Systems; Dream Ranch LLC; GCS Imaging Inc.; Innovative Printing Systems Inc.; Ray 6 Computer Center Inc.; Sandia Office Supply; Southern Consolidated Holdings LLC; and The Treehouse Inc.
Evler closed by reminding listeners that the next regularly scheduled bid opening is Thursday, July 23, 2026, and that bidding opportunities in excess of $250,000, as well as preliminary bid results and awards once approved, are available on the Cobb County procurement website (www.cobbcounty.gov/procurementservices). "These are all the solicitations we have to be open today," Evler said at the conclusion of the readings.
