At the start of the April 9 meeting City Attorney Erin Seele requested a finding of good cause to amend the agenda because Planning & Zoning updates from the April 8 meeting were received too late to allow full 24‑hour advance notice. Alderman Ron Harrell moved to find good cause and Alderman Bruce Rogers seconded; the committee approved the agenda amendment unanimously so applicants would not face an additional month’s delay.
The committee handled several procedural votes during the meeting: moving miscellaneous items earlier on the agenda, advancing Planning & Zoning topics when requested, and adjourning at 8:42 p.m. after a final unanimous motion to adjourn by Alderwoman Robin Huels and second by Alderman Jimmy Lange.
The committee’s procedural actions allowed staff to bring multiple items to the April Board meeting for final action and ratification.
