Separately, staff presented a cost‑share agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation for a floating wetland in Westside Park to combat lake algae; the City’s cost share is $2,200. The committee forwarded the agreement to the April Board meeting. The committee also forwarded staff-suggested improvements to the Fabick Nature Preserve outlook area, with the addition of a bench at the former helicopter pad site, for Board consideration.
