Old Bridge superintendent says he will resign as board confronts budget shortfall

"I want to thank the Old Bridge community for always supporting myself, my family... that's the greatest compliment you can ever receive is to entrust someone with your children," he said.
Board members responded with public expressions of appreciation. Several trustees and members of the public thanked him for his years of service; one former board president said she had hired him and praised his leadership. The board will proceed with a superintendent search process in the coming months, and trustees said budget deliberations and decisions on the district’s fiscal path will proceed regardless of leadership changes.
