Lynn Township schedules Dec. 12 public hearing on zoning map and ordinance amendments

Fisher said the Official Map updates are scheduled for publication on Nov. 14 and the public hearing will be held at the Lynn Township Municipal Building on Dec. 12, followed by a planned adoption at the Dec. 30 year-end meeting. The board moved to authorize the solicitor and Environmental Planning & Design to publish required notices and otherwise comply with the Municipalities Planning Code; the motion was made by Frederick Najarian and seconded by Ronald Jerdon and carried unanimously.
Consultant Carolyn Yagle reviewed amendments that had been discussed previously at Planning Commission meetings; the minutes do not list the exact textual changes but provide the hearing timetable and next procedural steps. The board agreed to publish required notices and to have staff and counsel proceed with the required administrative steps under state law.
Engineer Karl Scherzberg also flagged an LVPC questionnaire tied to updating the Stormwater Act 167 ordinance; the board agreed to have Karl, Matt Henderson and Jarett White review the questionnaire before the Oct. 27 deadline.
