The Lynn Township Board of Supervisors unanimously accepted the township audit and approved several administrative measures at its Feb. 13 meeting in New Tripoli.
Melanie Walsh of Frey & Co. presented the audit and said the "township has met all the obligations and the financial status of Lynn Township is very good." After the presentation, Vice Chairman Frederick Najarian moved and Ronald Jerdon seconded a motion to accept the 2024 audit; the board voted unanimously to approve it.
The board approved two SALDO waivers and final conditional approval for the Wertman lot‑line adjustment after hearing a presentation from Brad Rock of Lehigh Engineering Associates. The board first granted waivers to treat the submission as a preliminary/final plan and to allow a 1‑inch = 60‑foot scale. A follow‑on motion approved final plan contingent on compliance with the KCE letter dated Dec. 12, 2024; the motions passed unanimously.
The supervisors accepted receipt of an agricultural security proposal from Michael and Abigail Gross for two parcels (PINs 551081226997 — 46.06 acres; 551080525645 — 10.38 acres) and directed Solicitor Marc Fisher and township staff to proceed with necessary paperwork.
The board also added RWM LLC (inspector Ryan Wessner) as a fourth inspection agency for Lynn Township and approved his fee schedule.
On a separate motion the supervisors approved a first amendment to the cell‑tower option and lease agreement, directing that a survey include easements and rights‑of‑way and require tenant approval of the premises; the minutes note the proposed expansion does not conflict with the existing salt shed. All motions in the meeting record carried by unanimous vote.
The meeting concluded with routine administrative items and an adjournment motion approved at 7:57 p.m.
What happens next: Solicitor Marc Fisher and staff were directed to proceed with paperwork on the agricultural security proposal and to incorporate required compliance items for the Wertman final approval.
