George Alexis, superintendent of the Long Hill Township School District, told parents at a recorded webinar that the district will hold three strategic‑planning sessions in mid‑February as part of its five‑year planning cycle.
“Every five years, the board and district undergo a strategic plan development, and this year will be the time when we create the next five‑year vision for the district,” Alexis said. He said the district hopes to recruit a wide range of stakeholders — families, faculty, staff and community members — and that a survey with an RSVP request will be sent shortly after the December break.
Alexis gave no firm dates in the session beyond “mid‑February” and said further information will be provided via district communications and the website.
