The board returned from executive session at 9:20 p.m. on a motion by Ernest Gallant, seconded by Julia Jones-Jasper, again by voice vote with all in favor. Vice President Pamela Thomas moved to adjourn at 9:21 p.m.; the motion was seconded by Latiesha Carter and the meeting was adjourned by voice vote, all in favor.
The board's executive-session motion identified personnel as the subject for the private session; pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, the board stated that confidential items will be made public if and when confidentiality is no longer required.
