The Douglas City Commission on Dec. 22, 2025, approved the order of its meeting agenda and a three-item consent package that included a temporary closure of "Andrew" and a memorandum of agreement described as a "plan 1st" designation, officials said.
The chair opened the work session and turned the meeting over to City Manager Charlie Davis, who told the commission, "We have 3 items coming over from the work session." Davis identified a temporary closure request for "Andrew" and a memorandum of agreement on the consent calendar and noted a representative for the memorandum was present but the council elected not to take extended comment.
After reconvening as the regular meeting, the commission recorded a motion and second to approve the order of the agenda and then moved to approve the consent agenda. The chair called for a voice vote; members responded in the affirmative and the chair announced the motions carried. The record shows no staff comments were requested on the consent items.
The meeting closed after commissioners moved to adjourn. City Manager Charlie Davis concluded by wishing the assembly "Merry Christmas and a happy New Year."
