Urbanna BZA elects Magnus as chair and Hall as vice chair at organizational meeting
Summary
At the start of the meeting the Town of Urbanna Board of Zoning Appeals elected Mr. Magnus as chair and Mr. Hall as vice chair by voice vote during the organizational portion of the session.
During the organizational portion of the meeting the board opened nominations for leadership. A member nominated "Mister Magnus" for chair, a second was recorded, and the board approved the nomination by voice vote. The board then nominated and approved "Mister Hall" for vice chair.
Those procedural actions took place before the public hearing on variance 2024VAR01 (Riddick). The board proceeded with the scheduled public hearing and later set a continued meeting date to gather additional documentary evidence before ruling on the variance requests.
