Board honors retiring member Butler, introduces Danny Verwing as kindergarten principal

The Southeast Delco School District Board of Directors used its June 25 meeting to honor a retiring director and introduce a new school principal.
Board President presented a token of appreciation to Mr. Butler and thanked him for his service to students, staff and the community. Mr. Butler responded, "It has been a pleasure," and described the work as rewarding.
During the meeting the board also noted the retirement of Susan Lee, described in the transcript as a Title I instructional aide at Sharon Hill School with 29 years of service. The superintendent announced the hiring of a new principal for the kindergarten center and invited him to introduce himself; the new principal identified himself as Danny Verwing and thanked the board and central office.
