Board approves Irrigation Concepts change order not to exceed $15,000
Summary
The board approved an Irrigation Concepts change order to repair damaged wiring and raise seven to eight irrigation heads with a not-to-exceed amount of $15,000.
Charlie Krebs, the district engineer, presented additional costs associated with the Seaside & Master Drainage Project, including plumbing/irrigation repairs. Irrigation Concepts proposed $4,002.50 to repair damaged wiring and $1,300 per head to raise seven to eight irrigation heads.
On motion by Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Bob Schultz, the board approved the Irrigation Concepts change order to repair damaged wiring and raise seven to eight irrigation heads in a not-to-exceed amount of $15,000. The motion passed unanimously.
Krebs also presented a revised scope for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project and noted MRI expects work to commence within two to three weeks; ancillary costs were noted but the board limited approval to the irrigation change order amount recorded above.
