After discussion about budget impacts and a suggestion to defer a more costly relocation until FY2026 budget discussions, Mr. Schultz moved to install a temporary 'zombie box' at the existing location for $3,098.
Mr. Twombly seconded the motion. The board recorded a 3–2 vote in favor: Mr. Schultz, Mr. Twombly and Mr. Merrill voted yes; Mr. Mountford and Mr. Blumenthal dissented. The board discussed revisiting the full relocation proposal later and considering a pole purchase from Paramount Asphalt if location changes are pursued.
The action is limited to a temporary installation; staff will revisit the relocation proposals as part of future budget planning.
