The Sanbornton Conservation Commission heard that the Trout in the Classroom program expanded significantly this year, with student trout releases scheduled for April 14–16.
Brian LaRoche reported to the Commission that this year’s program was "triple in size" compared with the previous year and confirmed the release dates and locations: students will return trout to their respective local release sites on April 14, 15 and 16. The Commission expressed satisfaction with the program’s growth and community involvement.
No funding changes or new program motions were recorded at the meeting; the item was a progress report and a routine agenda update. Members noted the educational and conservation value of the program and did not propose further action at this meeting.
