Mannington Committee approves refunds, contract change and audit certification; hears public works updates

Barrett LLC via Fralinger’s Engineering ($6,590.00), Ricky Slade Construction ($8,500.00) and Dewitt Construction ($9,575.00); the committee requested Eber contact the land owner John Richman before proceeding.
Administrative and compliance items: the committee certified it reviewed the Annual Report of Audit for the year ending Dec. 31, 2023, including the sections titled 'Findings and Questioned Costs' or 'Findings and Recommendations', and adopted the required certification for submission to the Local Finance Board. The committee also granted municipal consent and waived fees for Mannington Recreational Association to hold on-premise draw raffles at 495 Route 45 on specified dates after deputy clerk review for compliance with the Legalized Games of Chance Act.
