He and council members discussed shape options — an octagonal or an oblong gazebo — with overall lengths estimated between 12 and 20 feet depending on the design.
Town Clerk and Finance Officer Yvonne Russell outlined available colors and design choices provided by vendors and noted a price list from Liberty Sheds was incorporated into the meeting minutes for council review. Councilmember Cheryl Moore asked how close the gazebo would be to the playground; Mayor Paschal said it would be adjacent to the play area.
Council members did not authorize a purchase at the July meeting. The council asked staff to circulate photos and pricing for further consideration and scheduled a decision for the August 5 meeting.
The gazebo discussion was confined to design options and cost information; no funding source or installation timeline was finalized.
