Commissioner Barbara Hood Benz reported there are approximately 24 parties on the borough’s Landscaper Registry and said enforcement will be conducted by the Mantoloking Police Department; residents who witness violations were asked to contact police to report infractions.
The commission also considered whether to change its regular meeting time. Mary Ellen Scalera reported members were overwhelmingly in favor of retaining the 3:00 p.m. start time. Scalera said she will contact Mayor White to ensure that resident Jennifer Marzarella’s name is submitted for appointment to the MEC. Marzarella separately inquired about a Pollinators’ Garden and said she will investigate and report back at the next meeting.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 4:08 p.m. on a motion from Barbara Benz, seconded by Rory Joyce.
