Mantua Township board approves dozens of hires, resignations and salary adjustments for 2024–25

Accepted resignations listed in the minutes include Lisa Zimmer (paraprofessional, Centre City), Coleen Martone (LPC aide, Centre City) and Jacob Powell (LPC aide, JMT School), all effective June 30, 2024. The board then voted to approve numerous appointments across schools and programs, including classroom paraprofessionals, assistant nurses, and other support staff with specified step levels, hourly rates and start dates (most effective Sept. 1, 2024). The motions were brought through the Human Resources Committee and carried on a roll-call vote recorded in the minutes as unanimously approved for the listed salary adjustments.
The board also approved Child Care Program staff (senior counselors with listed hourly rates), a long substitute roster, and specific team-leader actions: rescission of Amy Landis’ First Grade team-leader appointment and approval of Morgan DiLorenzo and Jamie Polimeni as First Grade team leaders for 2024–25, each to receive a $1,250 stipend payable in June 2025.
Salary adjustments and position clarifications recorded in the minutes include paraprofessional pay step increases and appointment of Patricia Karakashian as LDT-C at a listed annual salary of $79,194; nurse and summer-camp nurse hourly rates; and administrative support position hours and salary.
