Other approved personnel actions included a provisional appointment of Jacqueline Caddadi as senior office assistant in the recreation and parks department (effective June 29, 2026), the probationary appointment of Rudy Cordon as parks groundsman (effective July 6, 2026) and the board’s acceptance of an hourly librarian resignation effective June 15, 2026. The board appointed a library board member to a five-year term ending December 31, 2023, and approved items on the consent agenda.
The board voted to table approval of the June 10 meeting minutes after a member said a paragraph related to a parking-district hearing may be inaccurate and asked the clerk to review the recording; the June 16 minutes were approved.
What’s next: the new officers will report to the police academy on July 6; the town will proceed with the WSP assessment and the Axion contract will move forward as executed by the supervisor.
