Mantua Township Board approves bills, indoor air quality program and $1,860 Title III consortium allocation

The Mantua Township School District Board of Education voted Oct. 7 to approve a set of routine operations and finance items, including the bill list, line-item transfers for July and August, and the Board Secretary's and Board of Education certifications for those months.

The board also approved the district's Written Indoor Air Quality Program and authorized participation in the Gloucester County Title III Consortium, accepting $1,860 in Title III funds with Swedesboro‑Woolwich Board of Education identified as the consortium fiscal lead agent. The motions included standard language to reimburse mileage and meals for staff and board members attending approved workshops and professional days at the applicable reimbursement rates.

Ms. Leach, a member of the Operations & Finance Committee, moved the motion to approve items 1–7; Mrs. Pedersen seconded. The motion passed, with specific abstentions recorded on certain subitems: Dr. Kroeger abstained on Action 7e; Mrs. DiAntonio abstained on Action 7a; Ms. Leach abstained on Action 7f; and Mr. Wilkinson abstained on Action 7i.
