Salisbury Free Library reports steady March circulation; Friends fund museum and state-park passes

At the April 7 trustees meeting Director Nicole Morency reported March activity numbers and upcoming programs at the Salisbury Free Library.
Morency said 134 patrons visited the library in March. Circulation included 237 books checked out, 13 interlibrary loans, 24 DVDs, 4 magazines and 7 puzzles. Regular offerings such as Cribbage lessons, the Cook-a-Book Club and the Book Club remain well attended.
The Friends of the Salisbury Free Library purchased several patron passes the director listed: the Montshire Museum, the Seacoast Science Center, the Mt. Washington Auto Road, the Children's Museum of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire State Parks pass; Morency noted the State Parks pass does not include Hampton Beach. Upcoming events called out in the director's report include storytelling by Rebecca Rule on April 11 at 11 a.m. and an AARP presentation, "Vigilance Against Cybercrime," on April 25 at 3 p.m. In May Willa Coroka of Magpie's Apprentice will present "Cardinals & Coneflowers" at 6 p.m. on May 7.
The library will hold a Used Book Sale during regular hours on Saturday, May 9 and Tuesday, May 12.
Director Morency's written report and attached statistics were filed with the minutes and are available for review in the library's draft minutes notebook during regular business hours.
