The Salisbury Board of Selectmen approved updates to three Standard Operating Procedures and subsequently entered a nonpublic session, the minutes of which the board later voted to seal.
Town Administrator April Rollins presented proposed edits to SOP #93-003 (Use of Town Computers), SOP #93-007 (No Smoking Policy) and SOP #03-001 (Removal of Timber from Public Road ROWs). Chair Jim Hoyt said he wanted several specific wording changes to SOP #93-003, including removing the phrase "or their agent," changing another bullet to "by Town Administrator," and specifying that "Passwords should be on file with the Selectman's Office or Department Head, in case of emergencies." The board voted to accept the SOP changes; Selectman Hostetler seconded and the motion passed unopposed. Final copies will be signed at the next meeting.
Later in the meeting, Chair Hoyt moved to enter nonpublic session under RSA 91-A:3, II (a),(b) and (c). The public session recessed at 7:36 p.m. and reconvened at 8:46 p.m. Selectman David Kelly then moved to seal the nonpublic-session minutes; a roll-call vote recorded Hoyt, aye; Hostetler, aye; Kelly, aye.
The board set its next meeting for Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 7 p.m. upstairs in Academy Hall and adjourned at 8:47 p.m.
