On March 24, 2026, the Salisbury Board of Selectmen recessed its public meeting for a nonpublic session under RSA 91-A:3, II (b) and later announced the hiring of James Fascione as Transfer Station Manager.
Selectman David Hostetler moved "to enter Non-public Session in accordance with RSA 91-A:3, II (b)," and Chair Jim Hoyt seconded. The minutes record a roll call with Hoyt, Hostetler and Kelly voting "aye," and the public session recessed at 6:00 p.m. The board reconvened the public meeting at 6:31 p.m.
After the reconvening, the minutes state that the board "announced the hiring of James Fascione as Transfer Station Manager at current budgeted salary." The minutes do not specify a dollar amount for the salary, nor do they record a public vote related to that announcement in the public minutes.
