Helen Santoro, a Kings Park West Civic Association board member, proposed recognizing long‑term and exceptional volunteers at the upcoming membership meeting and said certificates would be presented during the meeting. Santoro said she will obtain FedEx pricing for the certificates.
Santoro also offered to help build a website to lay out the process and logistics for the membership meeting; she said neighborhoods that create a clear website have had more success in certain outreach efforts. Jonathan Reiser recommended talking to Tim about establishing Google Groups for neighborhood interests, and Santoro suggested one group could be dedicated to traffic‑calming updates.
The board noted it remains in need of a membership chair and a vice president. No formal nominations or votes were recorded at the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
