WOLFEBORO — The Wolfeboro Board of Selectmen convened a special meeting at 2:00 p.m. March 13 in the Town Manager’s Conference Room and voted to go into a nonpublic session under RSA 91-A:3, II (a) and II (b). Linda Murray made the motion to enter nonpublic session, and Paul O’Brien seconded; the five-member board voted unanimously to proceed.
The board returned to public session at 4:12 p.m. Shortly after returning, Paul O’Brien moved and Brian Deshaies seconded a motion to seal the minutes of the nonpublic session. That motion passed unanimously at 4:13 p.m. The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn by David Senecal, seconded by John Thurston; the vote to adjourn was unanimous.
The board cited RSA 91-A:3, II (a) and II (b) as the statutory basis for going into nonpublic session; the transcript does not disclose the content of the nonpublic discussion. The meeting roster provided at the start of the session listed Paul O’Brien as chair; the minutes indicate the meeting was called to order by David Senecal. The transcript uses both "Paul O’Brien" and "David (Dave) Senecal" in ways that appear inconsistent; the board roster and the meeting record differ on which member served as chair for this special meeting.
No other public discussion, motions addressing policy or appointments, or substantive votes were recorded in the public portion of the session. The minutes close with the signature line of Linda T. Murray.
