At the start of the meeting, Jeff Pearson of Rancho North (representing or speaking on behalf of the Rancho North area and naming the Marriott Equestrian Center) told the improvements committee he couldn’t find the water-vision working-group matrix on the agenda. "Looking at the agenda, I don't see anything on here...Curious what happened with the water vision working group matrix update that...was due this month," he said, and asked where the district stands on a new tank-location search.
Committee staff and members responded that there was no update from two working-group participants (Lisa and Jim) to include in the packet, and that staff will follow up and bring documented progress to the next improvements committee meeting.
Why it matters: The water-vision matrix was a planned discussion item and multiple community stakeholders have spent time condensing input; the commenter asked for transparency on scheduling and next steps so the group’s work is not lost.
What’s next: Staff will follow up with the working-group participants and bring any substantive material to the committee when available.
