Ross's report followed his department's monthly summary: the police department logged 128 call records in February 2025, completed 10 reports, received a $5,000 donation for auxiliary funds and is awaiting a response on a Bulletproof Vest grant application. After Ross outlined the redaction concerns and cost considerations, Mayor Barbara J. Lloyd asked him to take the issue to the Rules Committee for further evaluation.
No procurement decision or formal council action on a redaction vendor was recorded at the meeting; the matter was directed to the Rules Committee for additional review.
