Stedman approves townwide pothole patching, rents roller and buys used dump truck; budget amendment adopted

The board separately approved rental of a 36-inch roller for one week from Sunbelt Rentals and approved purchase of the dump truck located in Asheboro, N.C.; Commissioner Lee moved the truck purchase, Commissioner Wood seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
The Sunbelt reservation form included in the record lists an estimated rental total of $907.23 (including fees and tax) for the roller reservation; the board did not specify a purchase price for the rental in the motion, but did approve the rental on the record.
