"This clarifies that having a bonfire in a city designated fire pit at Memorial Park... is approved," staff said. Councilors noted the ordinance had been drafted in consultation with the city attorney, public works and the police department.
A councilor moved approval and the ordinance passed on second reading by voice vote. The ordinance will now be codified and enforced as written.
