Anthony Wagner appeared before the Greenbush Planning Commission seeking a conditional-use permit to operate a conversion-van design and build business from a property at W8497 Cty Rd C (Parcel No. 59002000883).
According to the minutes, Wagner described the business as designing and building conversion vans. The application would permit up to three employees working between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., using the existing building and parking area. The parcel is currently zoned A5 and used as a residence.
Planning Commission Chair James Weinbauer advised that the property should be rezoned to B-1 (Local Business and Industrial District) to accommodate the proposed commercial use. Weinbauer also requested that Wagner supply an overview map of the parcel and a more complete description of working hours and what materials and vehicles would be stored inside and outside the shop building.
The commission did not act on the conditional-use permit at the meeting; it scheduled the application for a public hearing in March for public notice and comment.
Next steps: Wagner is expected to provide the requested parcel mapping and operational details ahead of the March public hearing so the commission can consider the conditional-use request and any required rezoning.
