Greenbush board approves election staffing, addresses roads, snow removal and other routine business

The Town of Greenbush Board on Dec. 22 approved a resolution setting the number of election officials for 2026 and adopted the roster of election officials, with Supervisor Mary Kracht recusing herself from both votes because she is an election official.
On a motion by Tony Wagner, seconded by Miles Shaw, the board approved Resolution 2025-2 regarding the number of election officials and later approved the roster for 2026. Both actions were recorded as carried in the minutes; the minutes note Kracht’s recusals but do not include roll-call vote tallies.
The board discussed winter maintenance priorities and roadwork. Members identified Glen Road and Spruce Road for brush cutting and tree trimming; Chairman Mike Limberg will request a rate from Sheboygan County for the January meeting.
Supervisor Tony Wagner raised concerns about the quality and timeliness of snow removal at the town hall and fire station so far this winter, specifically sidewalks near doors. The contractor, Cobblestone, has been notified and the board will review contractor performance after the next snowfall.
Clerk/Treasurer Miller presented a request from Don Ditter of the Greenbush Sanitary District to lease town computer time. The board did not grant use of the town computer or software; the sanitary district may continue to use the town Wi‑Fi and office space already allowed in the town hall.
The board noted it had not yet received the 2026 mobile home park license application for Leones Mobile Homes, reviewed a list of monthly correspondence items, approved presented bills (including any utility bills paid in December 2025) and adjourned at 9:08 p.m.
Next steps: the board will seek a county rate quote for brush cutting in January, review snow-removal contractor performance after the next storm, and await the mobile home park license application.
