Residents press township on flag protocol and late-night noise during workshop public comment

Separately, a resident said a trash-truck was operating on a private dead-end road around 2:15 a.m. and offered time-stamped video to the manager’s office. The board asked staff to accept the footage and investigate whether the truck’s operations violated local rules.
Other residents commented on neighborhood noise from a nearby racetrack and on the recent public event (the Big Boy locomotive visit), with several praising the road crew and emergency responders for their event support.
Next steps: Staff said they will review existing flag and signage protocols, accept and review submitted video evidence of potential late-night truck activity, and return findings or recommendations at a future meeting.
