Mayor Simpson recommended Veigel, noting that he and his wife have lived in Thayne’s Meadows subdivision for about four years and expressing enthusiasm for Veigel’s expertise. Veigel recited the oath of office required of municipal officers, pledging to support the U.S. and Wyoming constitutions, discharge duties faithfully and not accept improper compensation.
Joe Heward moved to appoint Veigel and Lenny Pelletier seconded the motion; the council carried the appointment unanimously.
