Project management representative James Hoffpauir and maintenance/transportation supervisor Robert Gates reported there were no new projects to bid at the time and provided updates on ongoing bids and construction activity. The Board approved Shannon Smith as the low bidder for the Cameron Parish School Board warehouse renovations on a motion by Randall Faulk, seconded by Christi Labove.
Separately, Mr. Michael Cassidy of the Cameron Parish District AttorneyOffice presented a request from Williams for temporary workspace on property described as T15S R14W Section 16; the Board approved that request on a motion by Christi Labove, seconded by Vickie Kiffe.
Hoffpauir Architects, LLC also provided updates on FEMA, CDBG and general fund construction, repairs and renovations to permanent and temporary sites; the minutes contain project-status updates but do not include contract dollar amounts in the transcript.
