Select Board appoints new ZBA member, waives town-hall fee for Francestown forum

The Temple Select Board appointed Steve Andersen to fill a vacancy on the Zoning Board of Adjustment and named Gary Scholl as an alternate during its Jan. 13 meeting at Town Hall.
Select Board Chair Ken Caisse moved to appoint Andersen and Scholl; Select Board member George Willard seconded the motion and the board voted unanimously to approve both appointments. The minutes note both candidates were recommended by current ZBA members.
The board also voted unanimously to waive the Town Hall rental fee for a proposed Francestown forum intended to educate voters about research the organizing committee has conducted. An attendee recorded in the minutes as Kingston expressed support for holding the forum at Temple’s Town Hall. Select Board member Bill Ezell moved to waive the fee; Caisse seconded the motion and all members voted in favor.
No additional conditions or fees were recorded in the minutes. The board’s actions were recorded as motions with unanimous approval; the appointments and the fee waiver will be implemented as recorded at the board’s next administrative steps.
