At the May 5 meeting, Chuck Stinson III told the Stratford Selectboard that the apron of the fire department driveway is cracking and requires repair and that the department recently completed CPR training so that all members are up to date.
Stinson said Mr. Lee has expressed interest in returning to the department and noted he currently manages the fire department's Facebook page. When Suzanne Goulet asked whether CPR training could be made available to the public, Stinson recommended contacting 45th Parallel EMS to explore organizing a public CPR training session.
The board also discussed the process for appointing a Fire Warden. Stinson provided information on appropriate contacts for establishing the position, and Selectman Ron Scott Jr. indicated he would be willing to take on the role based on that initial information. The minutes do not record a formal appointment or vote on the Fire Warden position.
No funding or repair schedule for the driveway was recorded in the minutes; the board noted the repair need but did not vote on expenditures during the meeting.
