County committee hears 2026 UW Extension plans of work and receives 2025 annual report

Pamela Larson, Area Extension Director, presented the 2026 UW Extension Plans of Work to the Kenosha County Planning, Development & Extension Education Committee on June 10. County extension educators summarized activities across program areas including positive youth development, food nutrition education, horticulture, community development and financial security.
Presenters included Camille Carlson (Positive Youth Development), Jill Herz (FoodWIse Program), Ann Kowenstrot (Diversified Vegetable and Emerging Crops), Savannah Meyers (Community Development Educator), Vijai Pandian (Horticulture Educator), Alana Perez‑Valliere (Financial Security Educator) and Carolyn Van Sloten (4‑H Educator). Larson distributed the 2025 Annual Report and noted it would also be shared with the full County Board.
Committee members expressed appreciation for the presentations. The committee approved the minutes of the May 13, 2026 meeting and accepted the annual report for distribution.
