Dr. DeLucia invited interest in serving as the board’s liaison to CABE; board member Marianne Johnson volunteered to serve in that capacity. The CABE liaison role was described as the board’s point of contact with CABE, receiving updates and reporting relevant information back to the board.
The board also accepted the Jan. 27, 2026 regular meeting minutes during the meeting. No formal votes on the superintendent search or liaison appointment were recorded in the minutes beyond the scheduling announcement and the volunteer step. The board set its next regular meeting for Feb. 24, 2026.
The Feb. 24 meeting will include the Ad Hoc Search Committee session at 6 p.m., followed by the regular board meeting, according to the chair's announcement.
