Board approves PACE rehabilitation payments for multiple properties

Staff presented a $3,125 partial final for work at 623 Broadway that included foundation tuck‑pointing, chimney reconstruction and siding repairs. The board approved a full $25,000 final payment for 307 West Street for a demolition and rebuild of a dilapidated structure and for work to repair fire‑damage shared with a neighboring bike shop fire. A separate rehab at 835 West 3rd received its full payout ($4,290) for window replacement, and 1126 West 2nd was approved for a $25,000 full PACE payment for foundation repairs, reframing, roof repairs and rewiring.
The mayor praised the PACE program as a critical financing source helping reverse long‑term decline in parts of the city and said these projects are adding quality housing stock. The board unanimously approved the payments on voice votes.
